What to buy to start painting?
Dear creative mind! If you dream of expressing yourself through colors and strokes, but don’t know where to start – don’t worry! Here’s a friendly guide so you can start your artistic adventure with joy and confidence. And – It doesn't matter if it's your first time painting!
🖼️ 1. Canvas
Choose a size that you like – 50×40 cm is ideal for a start.
If you don't have your own – You can buy a canvas on site for €7.. Easy and convenient!
🖌️ 2. Brushes and spatulas
For painting with acrylic or oil paints you will need the following brushes:
✅ Large brushes (20–30 mm)
✅ A pair of medium size
✅ And some smaller ones for details
If you're not sure what to choose – we'll help you on the spot!
🌈 3. Colors
Acrylic or oil paint set (24 shades) – ideal for a beginner!
You can choose a ready-made set or put together your own.
🎯 Small tricks: Transparent shades, such as yellow, blue, red, will be useful for various effective layers.
🎨 4. Palette
Simple solutions work great!
Use a paper plate or wooden tray – the main thing is that you are comfortable mixing the colors.
💧 5. Water or solvent
- For acrylic – water (will be available on site)
- For oil – artists' solvent (turpentine)
🧽 6. Practical things
- Brush washing bowl
- Cloth or wipes
- Apron – because the joy of color can be unpredictable! 😄
✨ 7. The most important thing is the desire to paint!

Special exercises have been developed that develop imagination, creativity and allows you to paint with joy, even if you are a complete beginner.
And if you happen to forget something – nothing crazy! Everything you need will also be available on site.
