Paint & Progress is a creative initiative that offers art workshops, painting/drawing classes, field trips and plein airs, as well as creative events. In this policy, we explain what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have as a data subject.
2. Comments
When you leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as your IP address and browser user agent string. This information is used to help detect spam.
An anonymized hash of your email address may be passed to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacyOnce your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible in the context of the comment.
3. Media
If you upload images to our site, please avoid files that contain EXIF GPS location data. Visitors can download such images and extract this information from them.
4. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to improve your experience. If you leave a comment, you can choose to have your name, email address, and website saved in cookies. This data is stored for one year.
After you log in to the site, cookies are created to save your login details and screen settings. Login cookies last for two days, but if you select the "Remember me" option, your login information will be saved for two weeks. If you log out, these cookies will be deleted.

When you leave a comment, that comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows for automatic approval of repeat comments without having to submit them for manual review.
Users who register on our site (where available) can view, correct or delete their personal information at any time, except for their username. Site administrators can edit and view this information.

You have the right to access your personal data, request its rectification or erasure, restrict processing, object to processing, and request data portability. Where data processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

Visitor comments may be automatically checked using a spam detection service. We do not use automated decisions that could have legal consequences without human participation.

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and in the event of significant changes, we will notify you, for example, by means of a pop-up notice on our website.
